Out of the Shadow

Tom received the will in the mail. Absentmindedly, he opened it without looking at the return address. As he began to scan the contents, he realized what it was and nearly dropped his coffee mug. When he saw the sum allotted to him, he couldn’t believe it. The letter only said how much he received. He didn’t see the sums the others would get, it wasn't the complete will.
